Ellipses form the basis of the entire artistic creation of Susanna Niederer. It is to them that the artist has turned her special attention over the last three decades, finding in them the source of inspiration for her work. Beside conceptual works made of paper , Kunsthalle Wil presents in particular the artist’s three-dimensional works and installations made of steel, wood, rubber, and polymer – indeed infinite variations in harmonious, perfectly-oval elliptical shapes.
