Today’s a special day for swisspartners Charity: The membership fees collected this year have been donated to eight organizations that are committed to helping people, animals and the environment. As a financial services provider, we believe in taking responsibility, and that is exactly what we do with our charity. In line with our motto, “The art of giving,” we ensure that every franc donated goes directly and sustainably where it is needed.
Humanity, empathy and responsibility are at the heart of what we do. We are committed to a society based on the principle of solidarity, in which everyone belongs. Equally, we firmly believe that education is key to future prospects for children and young people. The protection of animals, habitats and the preservation of biodiversity are also core elements of our philosophy. The projects we support all share a common goal: to achieve a lasting impact and act responsibly today so that future generations can also enjoy a sustainable future.
We chose these projects because they reflect our values and have a proven track record of making a real difference in their respective fields. Each organisation does tangible, concrete work and provides direct support to people and animals who desperately need it. At the same time, they create sustainable prospects – for example, through education and targeted support for children. The selected projects address issues that are close to our heart, from social equity and education to animal welfare and environmental preservation. Many of the projects are locally based and operate with a high degree of dedication.
One moment that particularly moved us was the work done by Incontro Zurich. We didn’t just stand by and observe, we were right in the thick of things, helping to serve hot meals and chatting with people whose everyday lives are often plagued by uncertainty. What moved us most profoundly was the openness and gratitude we encountered – sometimes in a simple smile, sometimes in a brief, honest conversation. In such moments, it becomes apparent exactly how important our efforts are: they reach real people and make a tangible difference in their lives.
Today’s donations have a far-reaching impact. Every amount of financial support, every project and every form of commitment helps to make our world a little more humane, equitable and liveable. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who contributed towards our shared vision.
