In July 2009, swisspartners founded Charity as an independent association. Its purpose is to support philanthropic, non-profit institutions at home and abroad. The main targets are global humanitarian aid, environmental protection and animal welfare, as well as sponsorships for culture and the arts.

The board of trustees and the members of swisspartners Charity are all recruited from the swisspartners group workforce. Thus, the responsibility and organization are delegated to the staff and the humanitarian aspect is supported by all. The association is financed solely through membership fees and donations.

Financial support is provided to build residential accommodation and schools in parts of Africa to enable people there to live a better life. Additionally, the cultivation of food crops is seen as a step towards putting an end to hunger.

“ARGO Stiftung Bündnerische Werkstätten und Wohnheime für Behinderte” cares for 180 people with disabilities in the Canton of Graubünden (Switzerland).

The goal of the Theodora Foundation is to alleviate the suffering of children in Swiss hospitals or specialized institutions through happiness and laughter.

Support for hearing impaired children in emerging and developing countries (e.g. Zimbabwe, Indonesia, South Africa, Nepal)

Rokpa supports children in Tibet. Takes children off the streets and offers them education and care. Founder Lea Wyler has been active for 30 years. (Several patronages)

Schweizer Berghilfe provides financial and advisory support to the population in mountain areas.

This organization’s main goal is to improve the provision of basic medical services in Africa’s disadvantaged areas. Its strategy consists of enhancing the performance of the local health systems through appropriate support measures.

Disabled workshop in Zürich with handicraft activities. The aim is to create an climate of togetherness, individual responsibility, recognition and self-esteem.

The Foundation supports the interests of animals and their rights in Switzerland.

Hostel in Zürich for the blind and visually impaired.

Implementation and financing of development projects in Peru and also, in exceptional cases, in other Third World countries.

The Zürcher Lighthouse is a hospice: a final home for the terminally ill and dying.
It offers residents the space and time to enable them to live out their lives as autonomously as possible.

The Pfuusbus addresses homeless people over the age of 18 in Zürich with no immediate prospect of finding accommodation. Volunteers care for the visitors’ welfare.

The goal is to help the reconstruction efforts of the poorest victims in El Salvador through financial support. In November 09, El Salvador was struck and devastated by Hurricane Ida.

This foundation offers 16 residential units for schizophrenic persons, providing supported accommodation to enable them to live as independently as possible.

Provides school education to children in India by building schoolhouses and equipping them with textbooks and writing materials, sometimes even with a PC.
